Self-braking descender for rescue with panic function The I'D L self-braking descender is mainly intended for technical rescue. It is equipped with a multifunction handle to control the speed of descent, to position without a stop key and to move smoothly on an inclined plane or horizontally. The built-in anti-panic function and the error warning trigger limit the risk of accidents in the event of misuse. Its very robust construction makes it particularly suitable for hoisting and lowering heavy loads.
Designed for rescue: no locking ratchet.Multifunction handle allowing, depending on the situation:- release the rope and control the descent with the hand on the free end,- to move more easily on an inclined plane or horizontally (thanks to the knob of the handle),- to stop without a stop key.Anti-panic function that triggers if the user pulls too hard on the handle: brakes, then stops the descent automatically.Trigger error to limit the risk of accident due to improper placement of the rope.• Swivel cam for easier slackening of a rope. It also makes it possible to make a system of haulage reversible and to make short rope ascents (by adding a pedal FOOTAPE or FOOTCORD and a blocker-handle ASCENSION).Descent of heavy load up to 272 kg (for use by expert users, refer to the technical manual of the device on www.petzl.com).Available in two colors: red and black
