Dispatcher – Gatineau Park Winter Trail Patrol
YOUR ROLE
Under the supervision of the Patrol Supervisor, the dispatcher will be responsible for the following tasks:

Plan, assign, and document the routes of professional and volunteer patrollers on the trail network (skiing, snowshoeing, winter biking, and walking).

Maintain constant and clear communication with all patrollers in the field, using radio communication systems and other tracking tools.

Act as the primary point of contact for patrollers in the event of an incident. Coordinate the response, the dispatch of resources, and liaison with emergency services if necessary.

Accurately document all events, incidents, communications, and interventions in logbooks and operations reports.

All other related tasks.
YOUR PROFILE
| Category | Requirement |
| Languages | Essential bilingualism (French and English), spoken, to interact effectively with all visitors. |
| Experience | Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience as a winter trail patroller. |
| Education | High school diploma or equivalent. |
| Key Competencies |
• Excellent communication and stress management skills. • Ability to make quick and informed decisions in emergency situations. • Thoroughness, organization, and attention to detail. • Knowledge of Gatineau Park and its attractions is a major asset. |
| Obligations |
• Hold the security clearance required by the NCC (National Capital Commission). • 20-hour remote first aid training (provided by Montagne Explore on November 28-29 if needed). |
| Specifics | Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. |
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Job type: Seasonal / Full-time

Schedule: 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 3-2-2-3 schedule between December 4, 2026, and March 31, 2027

Work location: Chelsea Complex in Gatineau Park

Compensation: Between $20 and $24 per hour.
