Job Description

We are seeking two experienced instructors to train various alpine ski patrol teams across ski resort regions in Québec. The ideal candidate has strong experience in skiing and mountain rescue, along with excellent teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Train new patrollers in mountain rescue techniques

• Teach safety protocols and emergency procedures

• Assess the technical skills of ski patrollers

• Develop and update the training program

• Organize practical exercises and simulations

• Oversee patroller certification

• Ensure the team maintains its skill level

• Participate in rescue operations if necessary

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a ski patroller

• First aid or paramedic certification (as required by local standards)

• Excellent alpine skiing skills (advanced/expert level)

• Previous experience in training or teaching

• Strong knowledge of mountain rescue techniques

• Good communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a team and manage emergency situations

Assets

• Certified first aid instructor

• Avalanche and difficult terrain rescue training

• Team management experience

• Knowledge of multiple languages (please specify which ones are considered useful)
