ABSORBICA® is a compact energy absorber designed to be used in combination with a JANE lanyard to make a fall-arrest lanyard. Very compact, it minimizes bulk on the harness. Equipped with tear-webbing inside an openable pouch, the absorber is protected from abrasion while allowing for regular inspection.

Conçu pour être utilisé en combinaison avec une longe JANE-I ou JANE-Y pour constituer une longe d'antichute d'une longueur maximale de deux mètres.
Absorbe l'énergie en cas de chute :
- déchirement de la sangle de l'absorbeur d'énergie limitant la force de choc subie par l'utilisateur,
- fonctionne avec des utilisateurs dont le poids est compris entre 60 et 140 kg,
- déchirement par paliers, afin de limiter la décélération subie par les personnes de faible poids.
Encombrement minimal : design très compact pour ne pas gêner l'utilisateur lors de sa progression.
Pochette en tissu résistant, avec système d'ouverture simplifié, pour protéger l'absorbeur d'énergie de l'abrasion et des projections, tout en permettant le contrôle périodique de l'absorbeur.
Deux possibilités d'installation sur le harnais selon l'usage :
- connexions/déconnexions fréquentes : avec un mousqueton maintenu en bonne position par un accessoire de maintien STRING (livré avec l'absorbeur) ou avec un émerillon MICRO SWIVEL pour éviter l'entortillement,
- connexion quasi permanente : avec un anneau ouvrable RING OPEN dont la forme circulaire assure un positionnement optimal ou avec un émerillon SWIVEL OPEN pour éviter l'entortillement.
