It is extendible, making it the first choice probe for many rescue organizations and mountain guides. The 13mm diameter and carbon material make it incredibly rigid, break-proof and accurate. It also has a steel-cable tensioning system, guaranteeing maximum rigidity. Thanks to its PFA quick-assembly system, it can be assembled in just seconds and unfastened and folded just as easily. The rubberized grip also ensures safe, ice-free handling in all conditions. As with all our probes, the CARBON 280+ PFA features a visual guide system with depth markers and a clear 1-meter marker.
