    Designed for the experienced belayer, the GRIGRI is a belay device with assisted braking designed for belaying both in the gym and at the crag. Compact and lightweight, it can be used with single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm. The assisted braking function improves comfort while belaying, holding a climber or catching a fall. The design of the handled camming mechanism enables exceptional descent control.

    • Assureur avec freinage assisté compatible avec tous les diamètres de cordes à simple, pour une pratique en salle comme en falaise :
    • - gestuelle commune, basée sur l'accompagnement de la corde dans l'appareil et le maintien permanent d'une main sur la corde côté freinage,
    • - confort d'assurage, grâce au freinage assisté : lors d'une chute du grimpeur, l'appareil pivote sur le mousqueton, la corde se tend et la came pince la corde pour la freiner. La main, en retenant la corde côté freinage, permet d'engager la came, d'où l'importance de toujours tenir la corde côté freinage,
    • - compatible avec toutes les cordes dynamiques à simple de 8,5 à 11 mm et optimisé pour les diamètres compris entre 8,9 et 10,5 mm,

    • - préhension confortable et simplicité de déblocage de la corde, grâce à la poignée ergonomique,
    • - contrôle très progressif du défilement de la corde procurant une descente fluide et confortable.
    • Destiné aux assureurs expérimentés :
    • - usage simple permettant l'assurage en tête et en moulinette,
    • - rapport optimisé entre légèreté (175 g), compacité et durabilité.
