Designed for classic mountaineering, the SUMMIT EVO ice axe is the tool of choice for all types of alpine trips. Lightweight and with a waterjet-formed tube, it offers a very comfortable grip under the head of the axe. The technical design of the curved shaft provides the necessary clearance on steep, icy terrain. The forged and well-balanced head provides very good anchoring qualities. The grip of the shaft makes it a precise and efficient ice axe.

Manche hydro-formé pour une bonne prise en main au niveau du galbe et un design technique :
- le manche est galbé dans sa partie haute ce qui offre une bonne distance de dégagement en escalade,
- la partie basse est plus droite et garantit une pénétration efficace dans la neige.
Tête et lame en acier forgé à chaud, assurant des ancrages solides :
- lame fine (3 mm), robuste et dentée en extrémité, assurant une bonne qualité d'ancrage en neige dure et glace,
- lame plus épaisse au centre pour favoriser l'accroche en neige molle.
- dents en partie supérieure de la lame renforçant la tenue du piolet en utilisation piolet-rampe,
- pointe robuste en acier inoxydable pour une très bonne pénétration en neige dure et en utilisation en piolet-canne.
Haute résistance et aspects pratiques :
- panne très résistante en acier offrant une surface d'appui confortable et avec un design des arêtes permettant de tailler des marches efficacement,
