Yates - special ops full body harness

NEW RE-DESIGN FOR 2014. The 361 was completely redesigned in late 2014. The original design was not designed by Yates Gear, it was sewn under contract for the Navy as a Helo pilot extraction harness. We always disliked there specific configuration. The redesign follows how we build other full body and seat Yates harnesses. The new design more comfortable, more adjustable and much stronger than the original military contracted JSAVES design. The new design also allowed for the integration of to rappel loops at waist level. This was necessary for Heli rappel operations out of the black hawk helicopters that do not have skids for the operator to stand on. The loops below the waist belt are to attach a gear bag during rappelling, hoisting or short haul operations. A full body harness and tactical load bearing vest are combined offering a unique product for civilian Special Operations and SWAT personnel. This modular harness and tactical vest combination was originally developed by Survival Inc. as the Joint Services Aircrew Vest and Extraction System™ (JSAVES) for US Air Force helicopter pilots and crew. Some additional features and add on modules were added for civilian Special Ops needs. Comes with front attachment points which when connected with a locking carabiner can be used for extraction or rappel applications. (Used with Extraction/Personal Retention Lanyard item # 566). A rear dorsal D ring is provided for helicopter spotter or gunner lanyard attachment. Dorsal D ring is used for SPIE Lanyard attachment (Item # 364). Easily donned by use of quick connect double release action Mil-Spec. COBRA buckles on waist, sternum and leg loops. Leg loops are stowed in concealed pockets on the bottom of the vest until needed. 4 inch padded waist belt. Tactical load bearing vest is designed using the latest military Modular Lightweight Load Carrying Equipment (MOLLE) system to easily attach desired pockets, ammo pouches and weapons. The vest does not come with any pockets or pouches. Molded rubber drag handle included on rear of vest.
